Configure failure alerts
Choose channels and recipients for test failures.
Open Settings → Notifications and enable Notify on test case failure. Then enable the channels you need.
| Channel | When it sends | Required setup |
|---|---|---|
| Slack | Once per failed test case. | A connected workspace and project channel under Integrations. |
| Google Chat | Once per failed test case. | A project webhook. |
| Once per run that finishes with failures. | Email enabled and at least one Alert recipient. |
Slack and Google Chat toggles appear after their destinations are configured. The master switch and both chat channels default to on; email defaults to off. Alerts apply to manual and scheduled runs.
Email recipients
Add up to 20 Alert recipients. Email alerts include the project, run name, pass/fail counts, and a link that requires Operio sign-in. They do not create a public report.
Report recipients under Settings → Reporting are a separate list used by the manual Send report action.
Mute alerts
Turn off one channel or the master switch. Destinations stay configured, so you can enable alerts again without reconnecting.
